Australia Day ... belated!

This year Australia Day fell on a Thursday (26th January) and a lot of people took an extra day off on the Friday to have an extra long weekend ... I didn't, but I did work from home which was nice.

It has become traditional for Sam Kekovich (lambassador) to appear in a video each year to promote the eating of lamb on the Aussie barbie and here is 2012's version ... Enjoy!

This is who I am ...

I heard this song the other day on the radio and loved the words ... of course they didn't name the artist and I had no idea who the singer was, so have been channel surfing constantly since to hear it again.  Today whilst I was driving home, they played it again, so I wrote down some of the words and did a search on the internet and found out it's Vanessa Amorosi's latest single called This Is Who I Am ... check it out:

Lost Generation

This video was submitted in a contest by a 20 year old. The contest was titled "U @ 50" and this video won second place.

When it was shown, everyone in the room was awe-struck and broke into spontaneous applause.
